Peter Lavalette, Doctor of Chiropractic BSc (Chiro), DC, CCEP
Peter Lavalette, Doctor of Chiropractic BSc (Chiro), DC, CCEP qualified as a chiropractor in 1994 at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. Having completed his post-graduate year in Somerset he moved to South Wales where he has been in continuous practice.
Peter is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council. Peter enjoys working within communities and a significant part of his patient base is made up of those who have been referred by satisfied colleagues, friends and family.
Peter’s typical approach is to take a relevant history of the patients problem encompassing any pertinent medical complaints. This is followed by the relevant examination leading to a working diagnosis. From this assessment a specifically tailored plan for the patients treatment can be made. If at this stage any imaging is required, for example X-rays or MRI scans, then this can be organised quickly and easily on the patients behalf.
Peter may use techniques including but not limited to spinal manipulation, soft tissue work, massage and stretching. In addition, postural excercise and ergonomic advice is given. Peter is also qualified in the use of acupuncture (dry needling) for the treatment of conditions of the the muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments. Where necessary orthotics (insoles) can be custom made on site to help with mechanical foot problems.
Peter Lavalette runs clinics in Caerleon and Cardiff.
